Coaching notes

Runner practices reading the left-hander’s first move (leg lift or pick) and exploding toward second, with emphasis on staying inside the bag and taking away the throwing lane.

Coaching cues

Watch the first move; explode on the leg lift; stay inside the bag; take away the throwing lane.
