Objectives
Install aggressive communication and correct first-step habits even when space is limited.
Coaching cues
Call early and loud; drop-step first; take efficient angles; communicate priority.
Common errors
Silent approaches; backpedaling; colliding because of late calls.
Steps
- 1. Drop-step and short route work with soft balls.
- 2. Two or three players call priority on each toss.
- 3. Emphasize early, clear communication and non-conflicting routes.
