Coaching notes

Coach or partner rolls or throws three balls in rapid succession; outfielder fields and throws each one cleanly.

Objectives

Improve reaction, glove work, and recovery between plays.

Coaching cues

First step aggressive; soft hands; get rid of the ball fast; reset feet.

Common errors

Standing up between balls; poor first step; double-clutching throws.
