Objectives

Improve crow-hop mechanics; generate momentum and direction; increase throw velocity and accuracy from the grass.

Coaching cues

Get out not up; drive shin angle forward; roll the back hip; load the scap; finish through the target.

Common errors

Jumping up; poor direction; early arm; no hip engagement.

Safety

Proper throwing warm-up; gradual distance.

Progressions

Stationary rocker → full crow-hop → game-distance throws.
