Objectives
Develop adjustability for different pitch locations and ability to drive the ball to all fields with the same swing principles.
Coaching cues
Produce line-drive flight from each position; maintain swing mechanics; stay connected; avoid under or over-rotating.
Common errors
Mechanical breakdown between positions; poor contact quality; excessive rotation changes.
Steps
- 1. Offset open swing for line drive
- 2. Regular no-stride swing up the middle
