Coaching notes

Players rock back into the loaded hip, separate the hands, and drive forward, progressing from slow rockers to full-tempo versions that emphasize timing and direction.

Objectives

Develop proper load, separation, and directional drive while reinforcing posture and timing.

Coaching cues

Sit into the back hip; separate cleanly; drive directionally; keep the head still; finish in a strong balanced position.

Common errors

Rushing the rocker; early weight shift; loss of posture; incomplete load.
