- Duration:
- About 6 min
- Setting:
- Indoor or outdoor
- Players:
- Solo
Coaching notes
108 Performance coaches the pitcher through dry throws while listening for the whip location. Proper whip occurs deeper in the delivery rather than in front of the body.
Objectives
Correct arm path timing; reduce pushy throws; improve natural whip and velocity potential.
Coaching cues
Whip further back; feel the arm work behind you; avoid pushing out front.
Common errors
Arm action starting too far forward; pushing the ball; late whip.

- 1. Assume throwing posture
- 2. Perform dry throws focusing on whip location
- 3. Listen for the sound occurring deeper
