Haverstraw Little League was established in 1952 and serves the Village of Haverstraw and surrounding areas including Garnerville, Thiells, West Haverstraw and parts of Pomona in Rockland County. It is a chartered member of New York District 18 and fields baseball and softball programs for approximately 800 players. The league owns some of its fields and emphasizes sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority.
